Cesalina Gracie will guide us through different scenarios to get us mentally and physically prepared to communicate clearly and set boundaries without hesitation. Granddaughter of Grandmaster Carlos Gracie Sr., - the founder of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu , and renowned leader in the female empowerment movement, she will share the tools and principles of this gentle art so we feel confident when interacting and connecting with others.

We’ll also learn how to control our emotions through a breathwork practice. Remaining calm in situations of stress and finding our balance is key to living a healthy, fulfilling life. The more effective we become in doing that, the more successful we’ll be when facing the challenges of everyday life.

FAQs

Do I need to know Jiu-Jitsu to attend the event?

No you don’t, everyone is a beginner and we will be addressing situations from everyday life. Just come with an open heart to learn and share - this is a safe space.

What to wear?

Comfortable workout clothes. You will be gifted an awesome Women in Power t-shirt on the day. The activities will be done barefoot, no shoes required.

What type of food will you be serving?

We will have a break with delicious and healthy foods - fruits, nuts, and finger food - Laird superfoods coffee/coconut water and snacks will be provided. Vegetarian /Vegan / Gluten-free options will be available.
